Heads and Tails: Kemah's 1st Crawfish Festival

An hour long line for the $2 per pound crawdads and Louisiana specialty dishes did not keep festival-goers away from the First Kemah Crawfish Festival under the city's iconic bridge. Music, crawfish races and crawfish eating contests entertained approximately over 1,200 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Some of the proceeds are going to Houston PBS and the Kemah Police Alumni Association. PHOTOS BY CARLA BRADLEY
