Johnny Romano Skate Park Christening in Galveston

Saturday afternoon, only two days after what would have been his 11th birthday, Menard Park in Galveston was renamed in honor of Johnny Romano. The young skateboarder passed away last September after a prolonged battle with leukemia and was a popular, compelling figure in the local and national skate scene.
