Opening Night Victory: The Dynamo Down DC United

On a frigid and windy evening, The Houston Dynamo hosted the first game of the 2013 season at BBVA Compass Stadium against the DC United on Saturday, March 02, 2013. The visitors defended strongly against the home team assault, and even blocked a penalty kick late in the first half. In the 80th minute, United defender James Riley headed a ball into his own net for the Dynamo's first score, followed nine minutes later with a goal by Houston forward Ricardo Clark. The Dynamo remain undefeated at home since opening the stadium in May 2012. PHOTOS BY MARCO TORRES.
