Red Bull Thre3Style DJ Competition: Houston Qualifier

Red Bull and Fitzgerald's hosted the Thre3Style DJ competition Houston qualifier on Saturday, January 19, 2013. Five of the city's most talented DJ stars assembled in a battle for the right to represent Houston at the Regional Finals in Dallas this February. More than 700 people watched each competitor, who was allotted 15 minutes to rock the party to the fullest and were scored on their mixing skills, creativity, stage presence, track selection, and audience response. The judges included current Thre3Style World Champion Four Color Zack, 2011 Thre3Style Champion Big Once, and multi-platinum music producer The ARE. The contest featured DJs Kyle Berg and Rockwell of the Booth Pimps, Dayta and Elroy Boogie of The Krackernuttz, and the night's crowd favorite and eventual winner Bobby Hinojosa, a.k.a.
