Friday, January 18, played host to two openings: "Le petit Mort" at East End Studio Gallery (photos 1-40) and "El Rincon Social presents Bringing It All Back Home" at Art League Houston (photos 41-72). "Le petit Mort" was 18+ and explored the art of sexual taboos. The one-night-only group show featured over 25 visual artists and exotic performances. Curated by Juan Alonzo, "El Rincon Social presents Bringing It All Back Home" featured painting, photography, prints and sculpture by six of El Rincon Social's resident artists: Darwin Arevalo, Dylan Conner, Oscar Rene Cornejo, Alex Larsen, Patrick Renner and David Salinas.
