Texas' Big Gay Wedding

A Baptist minister, reverend, rabbi, Unitarian, and Buddhist came together to bless the couples.

Sunday afternoon, the Foundation for Family and Marriage Equality hosted Texas' largest and longest-running same-sex wedding celebration at Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church in the Heights. While gays aren't allowed to formally marry according to Texas law, the commitment ceremony is meant as a demonstration in support of marital rights for all couples regardless of sexual orientation.
