An estimated 13,000 bicyclists rode in the annual BP MS150 bike ride from Houston to Austin this past weekend. The yearly event is the nation’s top fundraising ride for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Riders traveled from Houston to La Grange on Saturday, then continued the ride towards Austin on Sunday, crossing the finish line in the shadow of the Texas State Capitol building. A colorful assortment of jerseys were worn by the cyclists and volunteers, with the winner of the People’s Choice Jersey Contest awarded to designer Kasey Dixon of HAM Cycles, sponsored by local bike shop Bici.
