The Record-Breaking Crowd of Go Tejano Day at RodeoHouston

The Annual Go Tejano Day at RodeoHouston drew an all-time record crowd of 75,305 to Reliant Stadium on Sunday, March 10 2013. Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon opened the show with the classic sounds of norteñas and cumbia music. Julion Alvarez y Su Banda Norteña provided his fans with his lively brand of tuba-fueled banda music. The finals of the annual Mariachi Invitational were held during the intermission, with first place going to Mariachi Aztlan from McAllen, Texas for a second year in a row. PHOTOS BY MARCO TORRES.
