Garth Brooks performed to a sold out crowd on opening night of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The legendary country singer was the first act to perform on the new star shaped stage. Fans battled traffic and filled the stadium early to watch cowboys hanging on for dear life on the backs of bulls and cowgirls on horses flying by in the barrel races. (Photos by Jack Gorman)
