Time to Roast at the Hatch Chile Festival

Even though it was hot outside, that didn't keep Central Market from hosting its Kick-Off Event for the Hatch Chile Festival on August 8. Chefs fired up the roasters for the first time and created a variety of drinks and dishes utilizing hatch chiles. Guests munched on Hatch Tortilla Chips with Central Market Hatch Salsa then sipped on Hatch Lemonade and Hatch Wine-A-Ritas to cool their palate, along with many more hatch chile concoctions.
