Use the Force: Astros Beat Cardinals on Star Wars Night

The force was with the Houston Astros last night at Minute Maid Park as they played the role of spoiler to a St. Louis Cardinals team in the hunt for the NL Wild Card. Former Astro Lace Berkman hit a game tying double in the eighth inning, sending the game to extras. In the 10th, Angel Sanchez laid down a bunt allowing Brian Bogusevic to score the game winner, giving the home team a 5-4 win. The Astros hosted a special Star Wars Night benefiting the organization Stand Up To Cancer, a movement created to raise funds to accelerate groundbreaking cancer research. PHOTOS BY MARCO TORRES
