I have a friend whose mother lost her home in San Leon to the tidal surge as did many others in this area. Yes, Kemah Boardwalk and Galveston were devastated as well. My heart goes out to all those who lost so much. However, let's not forget these small towns such as San Leon and Bacliff. Many people who lost everything when Rita hit southeast Texas are some are still suffering from there loses. Unfortunately Rita got little coverage and was soon forgotten because we were still bombarded with the news from Katrina. God Bless You, San Leon.
