In June 2005, I started taking photos of the burgers I was eating while researching the feature "Texas Burger Binge." I finished the feature in August of that year, but the burger photo file kept on growing.

Cool pics but please, using a slideshow (and one that can't handle traffic well at that) is a very bad choice.

You should come check out andres in lodi they have a burger called the mad dogg burger and if you eat it within 30 min you get it for free.

If I'm not mistaken, these photos are of burgers in Texas, not in other states. There is no In-n-Out burgers in Texas (THANK GOODNESS!); hence, you will not see any pictures from that place.

There is a little restaurant outside of Houston called Mel's...their burgers come out 12 inches tall and a diameter of about 4 inches. If you eat it in 2 hours (alone) is a free. I never did get a picture before I left TX but I bet they are still there.

dude, what did you do in your life that led you to this, i hope you are making a shit load of money. i envy you more than any professional athlete, musician, businessman. i would love to join you on your crusade through the heartland eating burgers, sure i might die at 35 but fuck it, nothing makes me happier than a delumptuous burg. while youre out you should look into going to mightyfine burgers in austin. i think the company that runs rudys opened a burg joint and its called mightyfine and it will set you on your ass its so licious. i hope you keep your burg tour up and keep the world posted. i love you
