This picture was taken last winter in West Palm Beach, Florida. I was able to capture it in a moving car.

This picture shows such a great depth of field. The presence of ambient light really sets to the tone for the picture. This photograph is by far my favorite.

I like number 11. What a nice effect with the clouds reflecting off the roof of the car. Good technique.

Nice shot. It's too bad when circumstances prevent us from taking the "perfect" picture--the slight amount of blurriness from both the glass and the motion of the vehicle unfortunately keeps this picture from obtaining perfection. It's happened to us all.

"Automatic" color adjustment in Photoshop will bring out the full potential of this wonderful shot. It will remove the diffuse haze produced by the scatter of ultraviolet light caused by pollution.

In a picture like this, it is very important that the droplets be in perfect focus so that the hemispherical mirrors they create will draw the eye into the fractal nature of the scene. It is a shame that it is so difficult to control focus on digital cameras--in 35mm days it was a matter of slowing the shutter speed and stopping down. Optics have not changed but in some ways the photographer was better off before.

What a striking photograph of a beautiful yet harsh landscape. Capturing this shot just as the sun was at the edge of the cloud completes the dramatic affect. Awesome and inspiring.
