On an absolutely gorgeous night for a baseball game, the Sugar Land Skeeters of the
Atlantic League of Professional Baseball held their season-opening game Thursday night at Constellation Field.

The home team took on the Lancaster Barnstormers in front of a sellout crowd of 7,301. This kicks off the third season of the Skeeters, who this year can count on former NBA star Tracy McGrady to serve on the team as a pitcher, although he did not pitch last night. Koby Clemens, son of Roger Clemens, did make the starting catcher. Here is a handful of our favorite images from the night:

The Skeeters untimely lost the game 4-0. But it sure was a gorgeous night for a ball game.
