A 27-year-old woman died of a gunshot wound to the head Tuesday night.
Lynette Mwanyoka died in the Wyndham Oaks Apartments in the 2400 block of South Kirkwood about 10:40 p.m., police said.
HPD responded to a call of a shooting and found Mwanyoka dead in the apartment. Another victim was taken to the hospital. Police questioned two males who were in the apartment at the time, but no charges have been filed.
