The Astros Triple A affiliate team held a celebration at Constellation Field for the re-branding to Sugar Land Space Cowboys. Reportedly, over 5,000 tickets were bought to attend the event and fans had the opportunity to meet players, play fun games on the field and had access to the team store with an abundance of Space Cowboy merchandise. The new team mascot, Orion, a blue space dog was a definite hit with fans.
