A woman was shot in the back and killed Friday night on the southeast side, police say.
Houston police say they got a shooting call and when they arrived in the 6200 block of West Airport they found an injured 24-year-old woman. She was taken to Ben Taub Hospital and pronounced dead. Her identity has not been released pending verification.
