KHOU’s Brad Woodard Enjoys On-Air Cigarette While Covering Fire

KHOU’s Brad Woodard was covering a Chambers County wildfire oil fire Friday, and if there’s one thing you need when you’re in a smoke-infested atmosphere, it’s a cigarette.

So naturally he lit one up while waiting to do his live spot. He forgot one key thing, though: Get rid of the cig before the camera goes live on you.

Instead he was caught taking a puff, as Mediaite reports, and then quickly getting rid of the cigarette — by dropping it in a drought-stricken part of the state that is a tinderbox for wildfires. And oil fires too, apparently.
