There’s not much information at all in the Friday shooting death of 17-year-old Ebony M. Murrell on the southwest side.
Police say they received a call about a shooting in the 10100 block of Sapling Way about 7 p.m.; when they responded they found Murrell lying on the ground, injured a from a gunshot. They called paramedics, who pronounced her dead at the scene.
“There are no known witnesses, suspects nor motive in the shooting at this time,” HPD says.
