You knew it was coming: The State Board of Education’s latest circus has provided tasty fodder for Jon Stewart and The Daily Show.
The Founding Fathers, Stewart said in the introduction last night, debated “whether our government should be under strong federal control, or whether most decisions should be left to the states. Luckily in educaiton, Americans enjoy the best of both worlds. Our school standards are under the strong centralized control….of one state.”
