All the incredible singing, music and theatrics of New Yorkยs Metropolitan Opera are closer than you think. Grammy-winning conductor Patrick Summers, who has served as musical director for the Houston Grand Opera since 1998, leads the famed New York Met in a performance of Pucciniยs classic Madama Butterfly. Chilean soprano Cristina Gallardo-Domรขs, who has become world-renowned for her portrayal of the delicate Butterfly, will once again reprise the role for this performance.
