Take a ride with Mayor Bill White and State Senator Rodney Ellis in the 5th Annual Guaranty Bank Tour de Houston. The bike tour offers three increasingly ambitious routes. Thereย’s a 20-mile route for those merely looking for a breezy, relaxing ride. Thereย’s a 40-mile route for the more resolute cycling enthusiasts. And then thereย’s a 70-mile route for everyone whoย’s in hardcore training for BP MS 150. All three will take riders through scenic neighborhoods in Houston, including the Heights, West University and the TC Jester area. (Mayor White and Senator Ellis are going to be among the riders, but thereย’s no word yet on which route theyย’ll take.) Stick around once you finish your ride ย— thereย’s an after-party at Discovery Green with free food and live entertainment.
