Lisa Marie Godfrey promotes post-psychedelia in “PRISMATTAK.” The curator for Domyยs latest group exhibit says the work on display is something new and trippy for the 21st century. ย[Itยs] less flowy and more geometric,ย says Godfrey. Brent Waddenยs acrylics on paper overlap intense patterning and tribal imagery for a dizzying yet clean-lined array of colors and shapes. ยItยs bright, psychedelic work that seems to be filtered through electronic devices,ย Godfrey says. Rebecca Wardยs site-specific installation uses colored tape for a piece Godfrey calls a vortex thatยs a ยcross between a drawing and sculpture.ย See these and other psyched-out works by local, national and international artists from noon to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.
