ยOpen House,ย the latest group show at Joan Wich Gallery, offers works by some of the galleryยs most popular artists. Martha Thomasยs photographs are stark and unpopulated. Her Interior, a black-and-white image, shows an empty room, with a table and chairs sitting in the shadows, while Bel Air shows a rusted car door. Kelli Vanceยs muted paintings of domestic life show scenes that come off as emotionally loaded. In Itยs You or Me Amplified, two women are talking in the kitchen. In The Words Fade into a Whisper, a woman stands behind a door. Both are simple scenes, but each has a raw edge. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. 4411 Montrose. Through January 19.
