It Looks Like Parker

It looks like an Annise Parker win right now. Here’s a report from Parker HQ:

Well, it seems like Annise Parker is about to win. And the people here
at Parker-town, which has become quite crowded and now seems like a
real-life campaign event, seem to be waiting for celebration time.

Which has given us an early glimpse of some Parker-for-mayor cheers. Some are rather unnerving.

There
were the “Yes We Can” chants, seemingly led by our man Greg Turetzky,
the last time Parker’s mug popped up on the projection screen (“It’s
not official until Locke concedes,” Turetzky just said).

Then there were people waving of cutouts of Annise Parker’s, attached to Popsicle sticks.

But nothing has so far matched the raucous cheer that went up when a picture briefly flashed of Annise Parker riding a horse.

And that’s where we’re at right now.
