The Texas Cultural Trust Council is taking nominations for the 2009 Texas Medal of Arts Awards until January 15. If you think you (or someone you know) have made a remarkable contribution to the Texas arts scene, fill out a nominee form here.
Winners will be honored in an award ceremony next April. The categories are: Architecture, Arts Education, Arts Patron (Individual, Corporation, or Foundation), Craft, Dance, Folk Arts, Lifetime Achievement, Literary Arts, Media/Multi-Media (Television or film), Music, Theatre Arts, and Visual Arts.
