A 16-year-old we know was waiting patiently at a bus stop the other day.
A non-descript sedan drove by, then hit the brakes. The driver made a quick U-turn, went back and crossed the median again in order to drive by the bus stop.
As it neared the bus stop, it started slowing down.
Creepy old dude offering a ride to some innocent young stud?
Maybe. Maybe not. Depends where you’re coming from, politically.
Turns out the guy was an Army recruiter, who could not bring himself to drive by the bus stop without making a pitch. And not taking no for an answer too easily, either.
Hey, at least he didn’t ask for help seeking his lost puppy.
But remember, kids: Be careful out there.
