Mark your calendars, because you donโ€™t want to miss these deliciously fun culinary happenings:

On Tuesday, January 21, Bayou & Bottle, 1300 Lamar, will toast its 8th Anniversary with the release of its Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel. Created exclusively for Bayou & Bottle, this bourbon comes in at 126.2 proof and has been aged for eight years. Complimentary tastings of the new barrel and Bayou & bottleโ€™s signature Dr Pepper Old Fashioned cocktails will be offered throughout the day and night. Also upcoming is the barโ€™s continuing Master Whiskey Tasting Series, offering a deep dive into the wide world of whiskies. The Dalmore presents its scotch collection on January 23; Jim Beamโ€™s Small Batch bourbons will be featured on February 8; while Still Austin presents its award-winning bourbons on February 20. Reservations are required for these two-hour experiences, which include a welcome cocktail, four tastings and lite bites.

Mutiny Wine Room, 1124 Usener, will celebrate its 5th Anniversary & Release Party on Thursday, January 23 from 6 to 9 p.m., hosted by owners Mark Ellenberger and Emily Trout. This special event will showcase the exclusive release of Kagan Cellars’ 2019 Vintages and guests will enjoy a bountiful grazing table, passed bites and surprises alongside special pricing on bottles of Kagan Cellars wines. Tickets are $75.

Guests are invited to spend an evening with Winemaker Dennis Cakebread at Brennanโ€™s, 3300 Smith, on Thursday, January 23. Brennanโ€™s Wine Guys Rich Carter and Marcus Gausepohl, along with renowned winemaker Dennis Cakebread of Cakebread Cellars, will host the curated wine dinner, with highlights including 2014 Chardonnay Reserve and 2021 Napa Cabernet. Tickets are $225 and include welcome bites, a three-course paired dinner featuring Gulf Oyster Soup Under A Pastry Dome, Duck Breast Roulade and Veal Tchoupitoulas and dessert.

Pappas Bros. Steakhouse Galleria, 5839 Westheimer, is hosting a Chรขteau dโ€™Yquem Wine Dinner on Friday, January 24, where guests will savor several vintages from Chรขteau dโ€™Yquem, including the special dry wine, โ€œYgrec.โ€ Seats are $450 per person and the evening runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Noragami, 2715 Bissonnet, celebrates its pop-up with Dallasโ€™ Sandoitchi with special evenings on Sunday, January 26 and Monday, January 27, collaborating to put on a dynamite 12-course Japanese-infused dinner for $250 per person. Attendees will also enjoy five, curated drink pairings throughout the evening. Seatings are available at 6 and 8:30 p.m. each night. reservations.ย
