Christine Ha took one for the team, eating some donuts and kolaches at the venerable Christie’s, and commenter Eberhard took issue with one of her observations:
They almost always throw in a few donut holes. They are not “trying to get rid of old food” it’s called lagniappe and it means, a little something extra.
All right then. Anyway, the comment made us wonder, what other places around town do this?
