The premise for Greg Hundemer’s play Simulacrum might seem a little far-fetched, but it’s fascinating. A woman has a dream about meeting a man who tells her she’s just a character in a story he’s writing. And she doesn’t completely doubt him. Is her life really just an invention, a plotline for a story she hasn’t read? Her real world and dream world collide, and she isn’t sure what to believe anymore.
