Monday, January 27
Sandoitchi Dinner at Noragami
Closing out Dallasโ Sandoitchi pop-up at Noragami, 2715 Bissonnet, Sandoitchi and Norigami will collaborate on a dynamic 12-course Japanese-infused dinner for $250/per person. Attendees will also enjoy five, curated drink pairings throughout the evening. Seatings are available at 6 and 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, January 29
Backstreet Pop-up Argentinian Wine Dinner at Hugoโs
While Backstreet Cafe is closed for rebuilding, the restaurant will host its pop-up wine dinners at sister restaurants throughout the year. The first will be held at Hugo’s, 1600 Westheimer, at 6 p.m. featuring a four-course menu by chefs Hugo and Ruben Ortega and the Argentinian wines of Catena Zapata. Reservations are $140 per person plus tax and gratuity.
Wine & Dine XV: Lunar New Year at JลชN
JลชN, 420 East 20th, will host a special evening of flavor and giving back as it celebrates the Lunar New Year with Wine & Dine XV. The unique event features a four-course dinner prepared by MasterChef alum chef Suu Khin and chef Henry Lu โ Braised Pork Belly and Daikon, Crispy Stuffed Lotus Roots, Roasted Duck and Taro, and Sesame Rice Balls. Tickets are $110, with an optional wine pairing for an additional $55; a portion of every ticket sale goes directly to World Central Kitchen, supporting its mission to provide meals to those in need, particularly in LA County.
Champagne Madame Zero Soirรฉe at Brasserie 19
Brasserie 19, 1962 West Gray, and Champagne Madame Zero are hosting a Champagne Madame Zero Soirรฉe at 6 p.m. Expect flowing bubbles and an evening of sophistication during a cocktail hour style event featuring a curated selection of zero-sugar bubbly, Champagne-forward cocktails and bites by chef Michael Hoffman. Tickets arer $85 per person.
Thursday, January 30
Steak Night with Feges BBQ at Plume
With the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo around the corner, Plume, 1100 West 23rd, is partnering up with the renowned pitmasters of Feges BBQ for an exclusive, one-night-only culinary experience. From 5 to 8 p.m., guests can enjoy a premium six-ounce Porcini Rubbed Grilled Hanger Steak served with romesco sauce and roasted cauliflower for $30 per plate. Enjoy cocktails and mocktails, or wines by the bottle and glass including selections from Crianza Martinez Corta Tempranillo, Bergstrom Pinot Noir, Truchard Cabernet and more. Mostly Chocolate’s chocolate truffles and cookies, as well as Cosmic Ice Creamโs classic Vanilla ice cream will also be available for purchase. Pre-ordering the BBQ plate is required.
Blu Bayou Chef Series at Bludorn
Bludorn, 807 Taft, will host the first Blu Bayou Dinner Series, offering a four-course seated dinner from chefs Aaron Bludorn and Brady Ishiwata Williams of Seattleโs TOMO. Williams brings his coveted Bone-In pop-up on the road, merging TOMOโs playful approach to a classic steakhouse experience with the vibrant flavors of Bludornโs Texas Gulf Coast influence. Highlights include Dungeness Crab Spinach Artichoke Dip with Toast Points, Bone in Ribeye with Sansho Au Poivre and Basque Cheesecake with Umeboshi Jam. Tickets are $150 per person.

Dine Out Rice Village
Rice Village and Southern Smoke Foundation have teamed up for an exclusive dining experience this month. Throughout January, participating Rice Village restaurants โ D’Amico’s, Duck n Bao, Hamsa, Milton’s and Navy Blue โ are offering prix-fixe menus or featured items, with a portion of proceeds benefiting SSF. Dig into salatim and skewers at modern Israeli steakhouse Hamsa, chargrilled oysters and chicken parm at Miltonโs, and more.
Galveston Restaurant Week
Galveston Restaurant Week returns to the island, running through Sunday, February 2. Participating restaurants will feature discounted prix fixe menus in benefit of United Way of Galveston, Galvestonโs Own Farmers Marketโs community-based food programs and Family Service Center of Galveston County. Two or three-course dinners run $20 to $60, two-course lunches are $10 to $30, and brunches are $10 to $40.

Caracol, 2200 Post Oak, debuts its monthly tasting menu series inspired by the countryโs coastal states, starting with Veracruz, the Gulf of Mexico region is known for its vibrant cuisine blending European, Afro-Cuban and indigenous influences. Now through February 8, guests can enjoy a four-course menu for $70 per person, with optional beverage pairings for $30. Highlights include seafood cocktail, grouper with blue crab broth, duck leg in mole and rum-flambeed bananas.
