Police have charged a man with intoxication manslaughter in connection with a traffic accident on the south side early this morning.
Timothy Norman Perry-Price Sr., 29, was arrested after the death of a 51-year-old woman whose identity has not been released pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The incident happened about 1 a.m. this morning in the 7400 block of Scott.
“The victim was walking in the median at the above address when a silver Dodge Intrepid traveling southbound on Scott Street left the roadway and struck the victim,” police said. “Further investigation determined signs of intoxication on the driver of the Intrepid. He was taken into custody without incident.”
