UH, for Some Reason, Decides to Go All “Penn State” with Its New Logo

We tried.

We offered five surefire-hit suggestions for the new UH logo, ones that would let the lower-tier Coog program draft off the heat of some of college football’s most storied schools.

The new UH logo is out and the good news is they obviously adopted our philosophy of using a big-name program to base the new model on.

The bad news is that program is Penn State.

“Hey, you know — Penn State’s sure been in the news a lot lately!!” no doubt went the pitch.

Here’s the new UH Cougar logo:

Let’s just hope we never have to add a tear to the UH one.
