As spring swings into motion, Houstonians tend to flock outside. The birds are chirping, the bluebonnets are in bloom and the temperature outside is … marginally tolerable. What better way to enjoy the warmer weather (before the temperature starts reaching triple-digits) than having a meal outside. Over the past few years we have released lists of the best patios in Houston and here, in no particular order, are our top 25 picks for the best restaurant patios.
The Party People at Brash Brewing’s Second Anniversary Shebang
Brash Brewing lived up to its motto — “Good beer and heavy metal; what else is there in life?” — during its second anniversary shebang. The Crosstimbers-area brewery hosted a daylong extravaganza with BBQ, food trucks, special release beers and tons of swag. The Pub Crawlers of White Linen Night in the Heights
The pretty party people came out for White Linen Night in the Heights on August 5 in Houston. It seems that every bar and restaurant along White Oak, Studewood and nearby streets opened its doors to revelers. Houston Italian Festival Celebrates Food and Culture
The weather was beautiful for the 39th Houston Italian Festival, a celebration of the cuisine and culture of Italy. Festival-goers enjoyed pasta with meatballs, meatball sandwiches, sausage (sandwiches or on a stick), baked artichoke hearts, eggplant parmesan, lasagna, chicken marsala and pizza. Desserts included cannoli, Italian cookies, sfingi, Italian ice and gelato. Come back next year when this iconic festival celebrates 40 years in Houston.
Creepy Christmas With Krampus At Brash Brewing
The Houston Zombie Walk held its third annual Christmas With Krampus extravaganza in conjunction with the Creepy Hollow Haunted House. It was a festively creepy event with Santa Claus, The Grinch, Krampus, a host of creeps from Houston Zombie Walk and Creepy Hollow, a holiday market, beer, barbecue, wrestling and a new release of Brash’s new beer, Black Masses, an imperial double coffee milk stout. Slow, Loud and Bangin’ at 8th Wonder Brewery’s Screwed Up Sunday
H-Town’s 8th Wonder Brewery has once again partnered up with Donkeeboy Art and Screwville for the 3rd Annual Screwed Up Sunday. The event paid homage to the creator of the iconic art and sound of screwed and chopped, DJ Screw. Saint Arnold Packs the House for its Epic 23rd Anniversary Party in Houston
Heck yeah. Houstonians know how to party and what better way to celebrate Saint Arnold Brewing Company’s 23rd anniversary than with an all day blow-out with Bun B, 30FootFall, The Tontons, Buxton, Say Girl Say and Genesis Blu.
