Mark your calendars, because you donโ€™t want to miss these deliciously fun culinary happenings:

93โ€™ Til, 1601 West Main, has launched its new seasonal Fall/Winter menu, crafted by Chef Lung Ly to show off the rich, comforting flavors of the season. Available Tuesday through Sunday for dinner service only, the new features includeย chimichurri grilled carrots with harissa and roasted pistachios, smashed fingerlings with beer cheese and pickled jalapeรฑos, kampachi crudo in pomegranate aguachile, porchetta with salsa macha and fingerling potatoes, au poivre style coulotte steak with lionโ€™s mane mushroom, gnocchi, and pickled shallots, among other tasty offerings.

Bourbon fans can hit up Bayou & Bottle, 1300 Lamar, to taste rare bottles at its Breakeven Bourbon Black Friday event. Beginning at 11 a.m., the first-come, first-served promotion will be limited to one 1-ounce pour per guest. The bar will also host a Master Whiskey Tasting Series, offering a deep dive into the world of whiskies with general manager Bardia Ketabi, showcasing The Macallanโ€™s limited-edition Time: Space Collection collection on Saturday, December 7 and Woodford Reserve lineup on Friday, December 13. Reservations are required and the two-hour experiences include a welcome cocktail, four tastings and light bites.

Bandista, 1300 Lamar, will host its comrades from Four Walls, recently named to the prestigious Esquire’s Best Bars in America list, at a two-night-only pop-up on Wednesday, December 4 and Thursday, December 5. Four Wallsโ€™ lead bartender Mickey Stevenson and bartender Lawson Ballinger will be stirring up five house cocktails from the bar, offered at $30 each. Reserve a 90-minute seating via OpenTable, with proceeds benefitting Camp H-Town.

Sylviaโ€™s Enchilada Kitchen owner Sylvia Casares is offering two more Saturday afternoon classes on the Ancient Art of Making Tamales this holiday season. The final hands-on classes will convene at the Eldridge restaurant, 1140 Eldridge Parkway, on December 7 and December 21, with participants learning everything they need to know to craft pork and chicken tamales. Classes run from 1 to 4 p.m. and are $75 per person

On Sundays, December 8 and 15 from 6 to 8 p.m., Backstreet Cafe, 1103 South Shepherd, will transform into a holiday wonderland for two special Family Holiday Nights with Santa. Expect Victorian Carolers and photos with Santa on the patio amongst festive dรฉcor and twinkling Christmas lights, an a la carte dinner menu and a special three-course kids menu for $20 per child.

Toro Toro, 1300 Lamar, invites guests to The Nutcracker Gingerbread Tea on Saturday, December 14 from noon to 2 p.m. The experience features an assortment of specialty coffees and teas, housemade pastries, sparkling wine, gingerbread houses to decorate, and a very special visit from cast members of Houston Balletโ€™s The Nutcracker. Reservations are available for $110 per person, including complimentary valet parking.ย
