Mark your calendars, because you don’t want to miss these deliciously fun culinary happenings:

Now through the end of Ramadan (Saturday, March 29), Burger Bodega, 4520 Washington, has brought back its highly coveted cheeseburger samosas as a limited menu item. The samosas will only be available as a post-sundown menu item from 7:30 p.m. until close. For those celebrating Ramadan, the burger shop will also be open late night on Fridays and Saturdays until 3 a.m.

InterContinental Houston, 6750 Main, has debuted “Le Petit Chef”, a globally-renowned dinner theatre starring a 2.3-inch animated chef, inside its Safina Mediterranean restaurant. The traveling pop-up dinner show fuses 3D cinema with exceptional gastronomy, with eats like Burrata Salad, Lobster Tail, Ribeye and Wild Mushroom Potato Gnocchi. Classic, Vegetarian, and Kids’ menus are available.

Julep, 1919 Washington, will host a special evening in honor of Women’s History Month. On Wednesday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m., acclaimed cookbook author and culinary historian Toni Tipton Marti will join award-winning Julep owner Alba Huerta for a celebration of Toni’s new book, When Southern Women Cook. Tickets are $35 plus tax and include two cocktails and a light bite. Add a copy of Toni-Tipton Martin’s book for an additional $43.30 plus tax.

Marvino’s Italian Steakhouse, 24002 Northwest Freeway, invites guests to a Luxurious Duckhorn Wine Dinner on Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. The evening features pairings such as snapper ceviche in leche de tigre paired with Decoy Limited Brut Rosé; colossal shrimp scampi with Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay; filet in black truffle demi-glace with Migration Pinot Noir; and chocolate lava cake with Decoy Limited Cabernet Sauvignon. The Houston Whiskey Riot invites enthusiasts to Post Houston, 401 Franklin, for an early evening of fine sips on Saturday, March 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. (3 p.m. for VIP) . Folks can sample 200+ varieties of whiskey from local and international brands, enjoy seminars and rare tastes, and hangout with fellow whiskey lovers, distillers, and brand founders. Tickets start at $75.
