State Fare continues its 12 Days of Brunch celebration, opening an hour early and rolling out its full weekend brunch menu on select days during Friday lunch hours. Other upcoming dates include December 22–24, 26, 29–31 and January 1–2.

Brunch with Santa features a special visit from Santa, complete with professional holiday photos. Guests can enjoy The Marigold Club’s à la carte brunch menu or reserve the Holiday Tea Service for a more elevated experience ($75 per person). A dedicated kids’ menu is also available for $25 for children ages 10 and under.

Otaku Winter Wonderland Festival at Karbach Brewing Co.

Otaku Food Festival returns to Karbach Brewing Company with a free, two-day anime and food festival featuring more than 100 food, drink, anime, and retail vendors. Expect Asian street food ranging from Filipino and Japanese to Thai, Taiwanese boba, Vietnamese grilled chicken, noodles, baos, plus Latin eats, alongside cosplay contests, a sumo tournament, voice actors, photo ops and all-day entertainment.

Hit the bay and enjoy Santa photo ops with a coastal Christmas backdrop, plus complimentary kids’ patio activities including oyster shell painting and a write-a-letter-to-Santa station, hot cocoa and live Christmas classics. Reservations recommended.

Oysters & Ornaments at Great Heights Brewing Company

Sunday, 3 p.m.

The GOOF-area brewery is hosting Oyster Bros. from Palacios for a pop-up featuring fresh Matagorda Pearl oysters, paired with house brews. Guests can also craft leather Christmas ornaments with Oak Forest’s Twisted Arrow Goods while enjoying the taproom.
