Tickets to this year’s RodeoHouston go on sale in two waves today: at 10 a.m. ad 2 p.m. with a chance to line up in the waiting rooms at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
The first group covers tickets for the March 2-11 performances and the second for the March 12-21 shows. The rodeo is careful to say that getting in the waiting room first does not guarantee tickets. Instead customers will be randomly selected.

HOW TO BUY TICKETS:
- Tickets will go on sale in two waves at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. through AXS Ticketing, at
rodeohouston.com.
o Wave 1 tickets for March 2 – March 11, performances.
o Wave 2 tickets for March 12 – 21 performances. - The Online Waiting Rooms will open at 9:30 a.m. for Wave 1 and 1:30 p.m. for Wave 2.
o Customers in the Waiting Room will be randomly selected to enter the store to purchase
tickets at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
o Early Waiting Room entrance does not place you in a first-come, first-served line. A place in
the Waiting Room does not guarantee tickets. - Ticket limits start at six per show and may increase up to 10 tickets per order, depending on
performance demand. A customer is more than welcome to return to the store to purchase
additional tickets, subject to availability. - All tickets will be delivered electronically via AXS Mobile ID; please allow 48 hours for delivery.
o To access your purchased tickets, download the RODEOHOUSTON app, powered by AXS,
and login with the email used to purchase tickets.
- If a performance sells out of standard tickets, Rodeo fans can still purchase verified resale tickets
through AXS, the Rodeo’s only official ticket provider at rodeohouston.com. These tickets will
become available around 12 p.m. for Wave 1 performances and around 4:00 p.m. for Wave 2
performances. - The Rodeo’s verified secondary market allows buyers a safe place to purchase their
RODEOHOUSTON tickets on the secondary market with the security of knowing tickets purchased
at rodeohouston.com are valid for entry. - Weekday rodeos start at 6:45 p.m. Entertainers take the stage at approximately 9 p.m. NRG
Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. - Weekend rodeos start at 2:45 p.m. Entertainers take the stage at approximately 5 p.m. NRG
Stadium gates open at 2 p.m. - Doors to Cody Johnson’s 21st-day concert performance will open at 5 p.m. Johnson will take the stage at approximately 8:40 p.m., following performances by Jon Pardi and Randy Houser, and will deliver a full-length concert.
