The Houston Gamblers defeated the Birmingham Stallions by a score of 22-20 during the second week of the 2026 UFL season. Fans were initially screaming at head coach Kevin Sumlin for potential clock mismanagement, but John Hoyland kicked a field goal as time expired after Birmingham took the lead on a fourth quarter touchdown with less than two minutes left. The Gamblers return to Shell Stadium on April 16 to face the Louisville Kings.
