Houstonian and MMA fighter Kevin “Trailblazer” Holland defeated Randy Brown by a unanimous decision in a Welterweight bout at UFC 327 in Miami, Florida. The eleven-year UFC veteran put on a clinic despite being cut under both eyes early in the fight. ย The fight card was stacked with big names and ranked fighters. Undefeated Josh Hokit and Curtis Blaydes won fight of the night and Carlos Ulberg won the Light Heavyweight Championship. President Donald Trump was also in attendance for the Main Card.

Another Houstonian, flyweight champion Joshua Van was originally scheduled to defend his championship against Tatsuro Taira at the event, but was injured and unable to compete. His title defense has been rescheduled for UFC 238 in Newark, New Jersey next month.
