Texas Monthly Taco Fest returns with an all-you-can-eat taco lineup featuring taquerias from the magazineโ€™s โ€œTop 50 Tacos in Texasโ€ list, including Cochinita & Co. and J-Bar-M Barbecue. The evening also includes live music and entertainment. General admission starts at $60 with entry at 5:30 p.m.; VIP tickets are $85 with early entry at 5 p.m. Event runs through 8:30 p.m.

The second annual Karbach Pickle Festival returns with pickle-themed food, beer, games and contests including pickle juice chugging and pickle eating competitions. AAPI Restaurant Weeks returns with more than 50 participating Asian American and Pacific Islander-owned restaurants offering special menu items, discounts and promotions through a digital dining pass. A minimum $15 donation unlocks the pass while supporting rice and care package donations for low-income Houston seniors. Participating spots include Agnes and Sherman, Aka Sushi and dozens more across the city.
