Beginning Tuesday, June 16, Savoir, 1344 Yale, will launch a weekly Tuesday Paella night featuring three versions of the classic Spanish rice dish. Guests can choose from Paella Valenciana with pork, chicken and seafood for $75 for two, a seafood paella with fish, shellfish and mussels for $65 for two, or a vegetarian option featuring seasonal vegetables and herbs.ย

Hugoโ€™s, 1600 Westheimer, will host a Clos Apalta Wine Dinner on Wednesday, June 17, beginning with a reception at 6 p.m. followed by a seated dinner at 6:30 p.m. Priced at $130 per person plus tax and gratuity, the four-course dinner pairs wines from the acclaimed Chilean producer with dishes including wood-grilled octopus, a duck confit taco, braised beef cheeks with mole negro and a mango-caramel dessert.ย

On Wednesday, June 17, Zaranda, 1550 Lamar, will host an Amarรกs Mezcal Dinner ($135+), with a reception at 6 p.m. and seated dinner at 6:30 p.m. at Zaranda, 1550 Lamar. Guests can enjoy paired dishes such as soft-shell oysters, a soft-shell crab taco, lamb chops andย  mezcal-white chocolate mousse dessert.ย 

Alicia’s Mexican Grille will host a series of Maestro Dobel Tequila Dinners at 7 p.m. on June 19 in Westchase, June 20 in Katy, June 25 in Cypress and June 27 in Spring. Priced at $95 per person plus tax and gratuity, the multi-course experience pairs tequila-based cocktails with dishes including a gordita ahogada with chorizo and roasted potatoes, wood-grilled skirt steak with avocado chimichurri and churro bread pudding with piloncillo caramel. The evening also includes a tasting of Maestro Dobel 50 Cristalino Extra Aรฑejo.ย

A Juneteenth Fish Fry is going down on Friday, June 19 beginning at 4 p.m. at Kamp, 6025 Westheimer. The event will feature fish plates, drinks and live entertainment as part of the holiday celebration commemorating Juneteenth. Free admission is offered until 7 p.m. with advance registration, general admission is $10+ and VIP and 2-for-1 ticket options are available.

East River, 100 Jensen, will host BLCK Market at Night: 7th Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20 from 3 to 9 p.m. The free event features a marketplace showcasing Black-owned businesses alongside live DJs, food trucks, an African drummer performance by Baba Abiono Ogunrinde, an interactive drum circle and a build-your-own flag activity celebrating culture, identity and self-expression.
