Houston Press (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Houston Press website. We use this California Privacy Policy (“California Privacy Policy”) to supplement our Privacy Policy. We have adopted this California Privacy Policy in accordance with the notice requirements under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended (“CCPA”), and any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this California Privacy Policy.

We will not collect a category of Personal Information not listed above, or use any Personal Information collected in any of the above categories for a business purpose not listed above, without first providing you with notice.
Personal Information of Minors
Our webpages are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly store information from minors under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us at privacyadministrator@houstonpress.com and we will delete it.
Information Collection
You have the right to request information regarding the Personal Information we have collected about you in the past 12 months. Requests may be made twice in a 12-month period.
Requests may include:

- Categories of Personal Information sold;

- Categories of Personal Information disclosed for a business purpose.

Non-Discrimination

Verification Process
To protect your information, we confirm identity before fulfilling CCPA requests. You must provide your name and email; we may ask additional questions if needed.

Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to exercise your rights under the CCPA on your behalf, with proper proof of authorization.
