The 2nd Annual Frenetic Fringe Festival is all about timing. Its a very concentrated type of festival that requires absolutely no patience, says co-creator Robert Thoth. If you dont like what youre seeing, wait 15 minutes, he says. Chances are, one of the 15- to 30-minute theater, dance or film performances will keep you in your seat. Selections include Liz Gilberts play Nearing Velocity, in which a car accident leaves a girl paralyzed and in love with the other vehicles passenger. In Beyond the Sphere, Jacqueline Nalett sets the spirits journey after death to modern dance; and in the film ThruYou, Israeli musician Kutiman mashes up YouTube videos to explore the worlds obsession with making dope beats. A total of four separate programs will be performed during the festival. Program 1 plays this weekend. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m. Sunday. The festival continues through August 23. Frenetic Theater, 5102 Navigation. For information, call 832-426-4624 or visit www.freneticore.net. $15 to $18.
