36th Annual Moonlight Bicycle Ramble

Riders will get lit again for the 36th Annual Moonlight Bicycle Ramble. BikeHouston's annual fund-raiser on wheels gets bigger and brighter every year as participants light themselves and their bikes up (safely, of course) to cruise the town. And while we're on the subject, please note that helmets are required. After all, this party gets started right after last call Saturday (okay, actually early Sunday). The Ramble caters to all skill levels with an it's-too-early-to-push-the-limits eight-mile course or a let's-keep-this-party-rolling 20-mile trek. 2 a.m. George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida de las Americas. For information, call 713-222-2453 or visit www.bikehouston.org. $15 to $30.
Sat., Oct. 25, 2008
KEEP THE HOUSTON PRESS FREE... Since we started the Houston Press, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Houston, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
