Dogs will also compete in athletic events including obedience, flyball, agility, Frisbee dogs and something called “Canine Musical Freestyle.” Returning as well is the popular “Meet the Breeds” program, in which potential pooch owners can get info on all types of dogs from experts, and pet health seminars. And you can see if your mutt has the makings of a Hollywood career in the Your Dog Can Be A Star photo contest. Finally, art programs include an exhibition of dog paintings by Houston-area students, and a Designer Doghouse competition.
