3rd Annual Chocolate Festival of Texas & Texas Wines

Today we can all celebrate chocolate, that delicious confection, at the 3rd Annual Chocolate Festival of Texas & Texas Wines. Honoring everything dark and creamy, the festival has both local and national chocolatiers offering samplings from bonbons to chocolate fondue, and don't forget, you can wash it all down with some Texas wine. For folks who are handy in the kitchen, there are chocolate competitions for both professional and amateur bakers. Anne Isham, author of Eat More Chocolate, Lose Weight Anyway! The Chocoholic's Survival Guide & Practical Handbook, will have a reading and book signing. Satisfy your sweet tooth at the Chocolate Festival 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sheraton Hotel North Houston, 15700 John F. Kennedy Boulevard. For information, visit www.chocolatefestivaloftexas.com. $5 to $50.
