6 Iconic Fashion Ad Campaigns

There is no other image as iconic as Marilyn Monroe for Chanel No. 5 perfume. Her suggestive pose--leaning forward, touching her own bare cleavage, spaghetti straps falling around her shoulders--makes you wonder whether she is dressing or undressing. One of Marilyn's most famous lines came in response to an interviewer: "What do I wear to bed? Why, Chanel No. 5, of course." It couldn't have been better if it were written for her. Over the years other famous faces have represented Chanel perfumes: legendary French actress Catherine Deneuve, Keira Knightley (Coco Mademoiselle), Vanessa Paradise (Coco), Nicole Kidman (Eau Premier) and the current No. 5 spokesmodel, Audrey Tatou, but none have managed to create an iconic image for the brand the way Marilyn Monroe did, with just one ad-lib.
