Now that Halloween is out of the way, we can concentrate on the best holiday of the year, Thanksgiving. Turkey day is the best holiday because it wraps all of my favorite things, pecan pie, family time, pecan pie, TV marathons, and, of course pecan pie, into one cranberry laced package. Then, if the holiday wasn't a blessing in and of itself, the following day is all about shopping. How could anything be better than that?!

I personally stay as far away from the super stores on Black Friday, mainly because I fear for my life, and take that weekend to shop local. Here is a roundup of Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and holiday sales from Houston stores, because you don't want a get a black eye on your holiday.
